Located close to Brandy Station Battlefield, Brandy Station Foundation Graffiti House, and Kellys Ford Battlefield, Morais Vineyards & Winery is a family-owned vineyard and winery that boasts more than a century of Portuguese wine-making tradition. At Morais, some of the grapes are even foot stomped to reduce the acidity caused by machine crushed grape seeds.

Among its fine wines this Virginia Governors Cup winner produces the spring rain and splash of mud Verdelho Portuguese varietal, a crisply tart and slightly chalky Sauvignon Blanc, a cherry and talc Rose, an indescribably delicious foot-stomped Merlot, an herbal and green pepper Cabernet Franc, the Select Red blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, the spicy Touriga Portuguese varietal, and the port-style MV Tawny made also made from Touriga grapes.

Located on a spacious and elegant property, Morais Vineyards & Winery is a popular wedding venue featuring a chapel and event hall as well as indoor and outdoor seating areas with lake views and views of the vineyards and fountains. The tasting room is family-friendly and well-managed by a knowledgeable staff.
