This award-winning winery, located about 4 miles northwest of Cross Keys and Port Republic battlefields, offers stunning views of the Blue Ridge and Massanutten and the rolling hills of the Shenandoah Valley, and there is a spacious outdoor patio on which to sit and sip and enjoy them from.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the tasting room, although busy on weekends, is well managed. Among its exceptional reds, whites and dessert wines, this Virginia Governor's Cup Winner makes a rich Chardonnay, a crisp rosy-hued Rose with a hint of strawberry, and an intense dark berry and smoky Petit Verdot.

Cross Keys Vineyards offers tours, tastings, bistro dining, indoor and outdoor seating, and music and events on weekends. The bistro menu offers fresh takes on classic soups, salads and sandwiches with daily soup and dessert specials.

Cross Keys Vineyards is the final stop on the Battlefields and Tasting Rooms Cross Keys Tour. This scenic 17-mile loop begins and ends in historic Port Republic with stops at the major areas of action on Cross Keys Battlefield. Situated in a rural and agricultural area with many historic buildings and structures remaining intact - Cross Keys appears much as it did in the 19th century. The tour is enjoyable as both an automobile and bike tour.
